Essential cookies

Clerk sets session cookies on the tenant-app host and, separately, on the portal host. Those two instances never share a session. A workspace-preference cookie remembers which firm you last used. These are required for the service to work.

Analytics — memory only

PostHog runs in the tenant app and the portal with persistence set to memory. It does not write cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Autocapture, session recording and surveys are off. Closing the tab clears the in-memory state.

Functional browser storage

A few preferences live in localStorage so they survive a reload. They are not advertising identifiers and they are not sent to PostHog as a cookie.

What we do not set

We do not set advertising cookies. We do not set analytics cookies. We do not use a third-party advertising pixel on the marketing site, the app or the portal.
