Connect an AI assistant (MCP)
Quantifiable runs an MCP server, so a compatible AI assistant can read your workspace and draft work for you to approve. It connects as you, with your permissions.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is the standard way an AI assistant connects to a system that holds real data.
Quantifiable runs an MCP server on your workspace. Once you authorise an assistant, it can answer questions from your live projects, estimates, takeoffs, programmes, variations, valuations and CRM instead of you exporting a spreadsheet first.
The assistant connects as you. It never has more access than your own role gives you. If you cannot see invoices, neither can it.
Anything that would change a priced or client-facing document waits for your approval. See “What an assistant is allowed to change”.
This is not the How-to assistant. The How-to assistant reads this user guide and cannot see your jobs. An MCP assistant reads your actual workspace.
Setting it up takes a few minutes and happens in Settings → Integrations.
Examples
What you can ask
“Which live projects have variations submitted but not agreed, and what do they total?” The assistant calls the tools it needs and answers from current data.
What it will not do
Ask it to issue an estimate and it cannot. Issuing stays with a person in the application. It can put a proposal in front of you instead.
