Valuations and payment certificates
An interim valuation records how much of the bill is complete this month and produces a payment certificate.
Open the project → Valuations. Start a round against the contract bill.
Enter percent complete per line, materials on site, and the retention rules agreed on the project.
The certificate uses JCT or NEC words to match the project. It is a PDF job — you wait for it, you do not run a browser print from the server.
The history of valuations feeds actual cost into earned value on the programme.
Fields
- Percent complete
- How much of that bill line is done this valuation, as a percent.
- Example: 40 on a line of 10000.0000 means 4000.0000 of work claimed, before retention.
Examples
Month 3
Open a new valuation. Mark the excavation line 100 percent complete and the superstructure 40 percent. Set retention to the contract percent. Generate the certificate and issue it.
